Go to a Pumpkin Patch

At the Carolina Beach Pier in NC, for example,  they offer a festive way to celebrate the autumn season on the beach. Starting October 1st The Pumpkin Patch at the Carolina Beach Pier is a seasonal event that typically lasts through the month of October. Perhaps there is a Pumpkin Patch event on a beach near you!

Carve Pumpkins on the Beach

Take pumpkins to the beach and carve them right there, then, of course, take some pictures of your carved pumpkins.

Take Carved Pumpkins to the Beach 

Take a few carved pumpkins to the beach and enjoy the scenery with a Fall flair. You could Bring a Bottle of Wine or Have a Beach Picnic.

Take Silly Pumpkin Head Photos

You can take some silly pumpkin head photos by holding a pumpkin in front of your face, or half a pumpkin. But if you want to do it properly, the pumpkin goes over your head (see next picture below). For that you want to wrap the inside of the pumpkin with something so you don't mess up your face and hair.

Build a Pumpkin Sand Sculpture

While at a beach somewhere, build a pumpkin sand sculpture. And, of course, take pictures of your artistic expression of a sand pumpkin. This fun sand pumpkin was built on the beach in Sandestin, FL. The sand grains there are clear and white quartz grains that come from the Appalachian Mountains.
